What a terrific day Spring Fling was in Garden Valley, Idaho this year! We had an amazing turn out and it looked like everyone was having fun!
K'Lynn, ( in the middle) Emily and Zoey.
Tanner ( Yellow jacket, my son) and Avery riding with "no hands"!
Hayden, my daughter, and me... just loving each others company!
All the kids and me.
Vender's were setting up early in both the streets and in the Community hall and downtown Crouch was bustling with people very early.
This crazy lady with her arms in the air is my neighbor Pam Edmiston..... shes not really crazy though! She is just having fun and being silly! Everyone was having fun, the weather was great and it was a wonderful day to get out of the house, shop and see friends at Spring Fling.
This is Trevor (In the picture he has great biceps!) and a group of his friends. They came down to Spring Fling early to help set up for the chili cook off .
This is Carol, her daughter Chelsey, and Shauna as they were heading towards all the fun!
This is Dick Polley. He owns Dick Polley Windows here in Garden Valley and is a great source for all your window needs. He is also a fantastic musician! He was singing and entertaining the crowd on the deck at the Longhorn.
This is Daryl with Sawtooth Outfitters giving The horse drawn wagon rides! Maggie is waving at me from the wagon. She owns the Wander Inn Motel here in Downtown Crouch. Its a great place to stay when you are visiting the Garden Valley area.
This is Patriotic Bill and his booth of great merchandise that supports our country and our troops. Bill was giving out great camouflage hats to the kids. My daughter Hayden hasn't taken hers off! And her Brothers keep trying to steal it!
Look at how busy downtown Crouch is, it looks like all of Garden Valley has come out to enjoy Spring Fling.
This is my neighbor Pete and his son Tobin. One of the great aspects to living here in Garden Valley is the lifestyle and the recreation. Pete and Tobin rode their bikes to town to enjoy Spring Fling.
This is Oran, his wife Chrissy and daughter Britney,I sold them a cabin in Garden Valley about 3 years ago. They rode their 4- wheelers to town to enjoy the day.
At the Grand Opening of 43 Degrees North Real Estate Office we had a Keg of Beer that we got from the Dirty Shame Saloon and Eatery. We were selling Beer for $1.00 a glass and 43 Degrees North donated all the money we collected on the the beer sales to the Crouch Ambulance fund and the Garden Valley Scholarship fund. We donated almost $170.00!!
This is Diane and Toni with Garden Valley Properties. They were taking advantage of the crowd and having a yard sale during Spring Fling. Toni's husband Phil is an artisan who owns Crystal River Logworks and he makes fabulous furniture out of Logs, check out some of his furniture.
This is the winner of the 5K run/walk and this is the second place winner
. You gotta love the cheering crew that was working the finish line
. This is Mary Bolen, Zach Mosedale and Dana Hinson enjoying a drink after a hard run..... they came in within the top 10 runners!
Zach and his wife Kara own Garden Valley Fitness. Garden Valley is really lucky to have a Gym in our town. This is Rick Nutt, he owns Pineview Excavation. He does all kinds of excavation and dirt work but he also has a complex septic installation license.
He is talking to Mike Florence about installing a septic at his cabin. Tom Hutchinson, in the red shirt, is a real estate agent and he is talking to a customer about the Southfork Landing development. Southfork Landing is a unique, conservation-oriented Outdoor Adventure Community located in the Idaho Mountains of Garden Valley. Southfork Landing comes complete with open vistas and is dedicated to protection of the land and river that is Garden Valley's signature, the South Fork of the Payette River. Almost four miles of protected river frontage of the South Fork of the Payette River serves as Southfork Landing's northern border.
For me, the fun actually started the night before ...... K'Lynn who works with Sawtooth Outfitters asked us to join them for the maiden voyage of the horse drawn wagon route that they were going to run for Spring Fling. Sawtooth Wilderness Outfitters specializes in family adventure vacations that will accommodate all types of outdoor enthusiasts. We offer a wide variety of trips including western horseback riding and pack trips, fishing, hiking supported by pack stock and Idaho big game hunting. Because some of my Girl Scout troop was helping in the Trash Cleanup party prior to Spring Fling, I had about 4 extra girls and my son Tanner had his friend Avery spend the night. So I brought a load of kids with me to the wagon ride! The Weilmunster Park in Garden Valley just had a new bridge across the wet lands next to the Middle Fork of the Payette river so we were the "guinea pigs" to cross it in the wagon first! We had so much fun!!

All the kids and me.Saturday, Spring Fling morning was crystal blue skies but the temperature was cold. The Longhorn Restaurant started the day with the Cowboy Breakfast and they had tons of people show up for the pancake feed!
I had the kids helping me with the final things to be done for the Grand opening of Garden Valley's new Real Estate office, 43 Degrees North Real Estate, so they ate Doughnuts out of the back of my car.
But look at how terrific the 43 Degree office looks and the great setup we had for Spring Fling.
Jeff Martel ( the stripped shirt) is the Broker, and Joe Grubiak (the white shirt) is the New Development specialist. I love working with these guys! Tom Hutchinson is in the red shirt and he is another agent in our office. Blake is wearing the orange hat, he and his wife Tammi own Idaho X-sports and is the go to place for snowmobile, ATV and mountain bike rentals and sales and the season’s hottest styles in outdoor apparel and footwear!

This is Kurt Breisch, he makes his chili with steak and it is always fantastic! Early in the morning while the kids were picking up trash, I ran over to talk to him while he was cutting up the meat. I picked the perfect time ........ he cut off a big chunk of steak and cooked it for me for Breakfast. It was so good!!! But don't tell the kids..... remember they ate doughnuts out of the back of my car! Darren and Randy were cheering on Kurt while he was making his chili. It all looked and smelled so good. At 3 O'clock the chili was done and for $5.00 you got to taste everyones chili and vote in a winner!

For me the best part of the day were all my past Buyers and Sellers who came by the Garden Valley Real Estate office, 43 Degrees North, to celebrate our Garden opening! It was a lot of fun to see everyone and I am so thankful that my real estate clients who have been so happy with their Cabin and land purchases that when they are in town they stop in to say hi! Thanks to all of you for your support and friendship! These folks are all my past customers.
These are the Reynolds and the Yundts, and Rick Nutt all hanging out and helping us celebrate the grand opening.
The Anderson's who have a great cabin in Lowman and the Reynolds found lots of things in common to talk about.

The Anderson's who have a great cabin in Lowman and the Reynolds found lots of things in common to talk about. I must give a very special mention to two incredible people from the Garden Valley Chamber of Commerce who worked their tail ends off to make sure that the Garden Valley Spring Fling was such a success. Windy Cooke who owns the Mountain Daisy Spa, a great place to go for a message, a pedicure, manicure, body wrap and all kinds of hair services from basic to designer. Windy was the person in charge of the event and worked endless hours with Tanis, who owns the Longhorn Restaurant also fondly called "The Joint" with her husband Jason, to make this day such a success. Thank you Windy and Tanis, for all your hours of time, and congratulations on making this a fantastic Spring Fling in Garden Valley, Idaho!
